Mating in progress. It seems to be the male (dark bars) that wraps around the female (bleached bars). I saw the same pattern for a couple of barred hamlets.

Tentative ID. The dark borders of the tail and upper pectoral fin as well as the blue cast on the ventral fins are typical for the masked hamlet but it lacks a clear mask for which the species is named.
