My brother found this little critter hidden in the sand, when he placed his hand down on the seabed to support himself. It was the first time we have every seen one, especially this close to shore.
Not 100% sure of id as these are rare in the med.

Only territorial males have this bright red colour and black head. Territorial males look like the femail, which are grey with dark bands.
